How Do I Remove a Listing?

To edit, update, or remove your Community Board listings, you must first create an account (Find out more about Community Board Accounts). If you do no have an account, any listings you add cannot be changed or removed.

To remove a listing, login and click on My Listings. Click on the title of the listing you want to remove. If the listing is Pending, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Listing. If the listing is Active, click the Remove Listing button that appears to the right of the ad. The listing will be removed from the Community Board and will now appear under Past Listings.

I added a listing, but I can't see it

  • If your listing
    • contained items that are not allowed on the Wightman Community Board,
    • did not follow the posting guidelines,
    • or was posted by or for a business or other commercial enterprise

your ad will not be approved and posted. Please review our Listing Policies here. If you have a Community Board Account, you can login and change your listing to meet our Listing Policy and resubmit it.

  • If you added your listing less than 24 hours ago, it may still be in queue to be approved. Your listing will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours during the week, or by the next regular business day on holidays and weekends.

What is a Community Board Account

Creating a Wightman Community Board Account allows to you update and remove the Listings you create. It also allows you to add favourites as you browse Listings so that it's easy to find them later. When you create your Account, you will have the opportunity to sign up for updates from Wightman about upcoming offers and promotions. Wightman will not send you offers without your permission. How Do I Add a Listing to the Wightman Community Board?

Without a Community Board Account

To add a one-time uneditable listing to the Wightman Community Board, simply click on the Add a Listing button. Enter a Listing Title, Price and Description, choose a Category, and upload any images. Then fill in your contact information, check the Captcha box (to prove you’re a human), and click Submit Listing. Note: Listings added to the Wightman Community Board Events category will also appear on Wightman TV Community Events.

Your listing will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours during the week, or by the next regular business day on holidays and weekends.
 

With a Community Board Account

To have the ability to edit, update, or remove your Community Board listings, you must first create an account (Find out more about Community Board Accounts). If you do no have an account, any listings you post cannot be changed or removed. Listings added to the Wightman Community Board Events category also appear on Wightman TV Community Events.

To create an account, click on Login at the top-right of the Community Board and then select Create Account. Enter your name, email address, and password, and agree to the terms of use. Check the Captcha box, and click Register. You’re now ready to add listings! 

To add a new listing, click on the Add a Listing button. Enter a Listing Title, Price (optional) and Description, choose a Category, and upload any images. Then fill in your contact information, check the Captcha box (to prove you’re a human), and click Submit Listing. Your listing will now appear on the My Listings page under Pending Listings. Your listing will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours during the week, or by the next regular business day on holidays and weekends.

To edit a listing, click on the title of the listing you want to edit. Click Remove Listing. Make changes, check the Captcha box, and click Submit Listing. Your listing will be reviewed and re-posted within 24 hours during the week, or by the next regular business day on holidays and weekends.

To remove a listing, login and click on My Listings. Click on the title of the listing you want to remove. If the listing is Pending, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Listing. If the listing is Active, click the Remove Listing button that appears to the right of the ad. The listing will be removed from the Community Board and will now appear under Past Listings.

How Do I Add/Remove Favourite Listings?

When you are logged into Wightman’s Community Board, you can create Favourites while browsing listings others have made to the Community Board.

To add a favourite, click on a Listing title while browsing Listings. The full Listing is displayed. At the bottom of the Listing is an Add to Favourites button. Click the button to add the Listing to your Favourites list.

To view your Favourites, click on the Favourites list link at the top-right of the page.
