Outages

Wightman had experienced a mobility issue impacting a small number of Customers. 

Follow these self-help instructions to correct the issue:

Android Customers:

1. Reboot the Phone
2. on the phone, search for network manually (on Android: Settings -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> Network Operations -> Select Manually)

3. When the list populates, select Wightman. If Wightman is in the list 3 times, attempt each Wightman option until a successful registration is made. If no Wightman network options are available, select Bell.

4. After the phone successfully registers on the network, repeat the process but choose Select Network automatically

5. Make an outgoing call to confirm services are restored 


iPhone Customers:

1. Reboot the Phone

2. on the phone, search for network manually (on iphone: Settings -> Cellular -> Network Selection -> Turn off Automatic network selection)

3. When the list populates, select Wightman. If Wightman is in the list 3 times, attempt each Wightman option until a successful registration is made. If no Wightman network options are available, select Bell.

4. After the phone successfully registers on the network, repeat the process but choose Select Network automatically

5. Make an outgoing call to confirm services are restored
