11:00 AM update

Wightman had a network outage impacting phone, internet and TV services in Elora north of the river.  The major restoration of service has been complete but some customers may need further individual steps to fully recover their services.  If your services are still unavailable please call Technical Support at 877-327-4440 and select the option for Elora North which has been created for this issue.

Update: June 22nd, 8:00am

Wightman continues to work through a network outage impacting Customers in the Elora North area.  We have found a solution to the problem but the recovery is very manual and we still have a large number of Customers impacted.  We expect to have this work done by 10:00AM this morning.  We are finding services are not restoring automatically for a small number of Customers.  If your service is not restored by 10:00AM, please call our Technical Support number at 877-327-4440 and select the option for Elora North which has been created for this issue.

We apologize for this extended issue.  We have been engaged throughout the day and night working through what was a complex problem.

The network team continues to work on the complex network outage in the Elora area.  Our technicians and vendors are continuing to work on the issue and Television and Phone service has restored for most customers. Efforts to fully restore Internet traffic will continue until all services are restored. As this is isolated to the core network, there is nothing an onsite technician or technical support representative can do at this time.  Once the network team has resolved the issue, you may need to power cycle to get your services working again. The network team continues to work on the complex network outage in the Elora area.  Our technicians and vendors are continuing to work on the issue and Television and Phone service is starting to restore. Additionally internet is starting to restore slowly for some customers. Efforts to fully restore Internet traffic will continue until all services are restored.
