Description

This position, under the direction of the Controller, will join the Finance Team, directly supporting the Inventory function to ensure the efficient and ongoing flow of equipment and supplies within the organization.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Equipment Management
  • Assembly of equipment for installation by Field Services Team
  • Prepare and document new customer premise equipment for service
  • Collect, test, program, clean and package equipment for redeployment  
  • Perform regular inventory count procedures in addition to the quarterly & annual physical inventory counts
  • Provide input on control procedures relevant to inventory management
  • Receive, verify and store shipments upon delivery, along with entering relevant paperwork into enterprise reporting software as required
  • Prepare and ship items to satellite locations and returns to vendors as required
  • Provide back-up coverage to the Purchasing Coordinator, including preparation & issuing  purchase orders
  • Responding to internal requests for information in regards to areas such as inventory quantities on hand, consumption, location and timeline to deliver

Qualifications

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post Secondary education or previous related training and experience considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license, “G” class with a clean abstract
  • Forklift training and experience beneficial

Work Conditions

  • Work is conducted in an office warehouse environment and includes outdoor exposure
  • Requires lifting (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, bending, walking and standing
  • Requires the use of tools and cleaning materials
  • Safety is of the utmost importance at all times
  • Daily interaction with co-workers and management
