What You’ll Do:

  • Recruitment and Selection: From identifying talent to welcoming new staff aboard, you’ll lead the charge in finding the best of the best.
  • Onboarding and Training: You’ll coordinate smooth onboarding experiences and guide new hires with top-notch training programs to help them shine from day one.
  • Performance Evaluations: Ensure our team gets the feedback and recognition they deserve.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Help maintain an up-to-date wage structure, conduct job evaluations, support employees benefits and payroll inquiries, and support bi-weekly payroll.
  • Employee Relations: Be the go-to expert for fostering positive and supportive environment, handling HR matters with tact and diplomacy.
  • Health and Safety Oversight: Play an integral role in keeping our workplace safe, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing health and safety training.
  • Risk Management and Advice: Support the leadership team with HR insights and guidance on company risks and opportunities. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of progressive experience in HR and solid understanding of HR practice, Health and Safety and the Canada Labour Code.
  • College Diploma in HR or related field.
  • CHRP, considered an asset.
  • Whether it’s resolving employee queries or presenting to leadership, your ability to communicate clearly and professionally is key.
  • Accuracy in data and record keeping is essential in this role.
  • You excel at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • You’re collaborative, always looking for ways to support others and drive success as a team.
